How Arc In Space translated a Dubai investor’s request for a warm, comfortable and luxurious villa into a desert-inspired interior concept.
Designing a villa around a client’s vision begins with understanding the atmosphere they want to live in, not simply selecting a style. For a Dubai investor’s home in DAMAC Hills, the brief was clear: create an interior that feels comfortable and inviting while retaining a refined sense of luxury.
Turning the desert into a design language
The concept drew from the desert’s calm palette and natural character without becoming a literal theme. Warm tones, considered material choices and restrained detailing created a contemporary interior that feels connected to its Dubai setting.
From the entrance onward, the design was developed as one continuous experience. The transition into the living and dining spaces, together with the circulation between them, was refined so every area supports the same balance of comfort, clarity and elegance.
Warmth through material, detail and proportion
Finishes and cladding were selected to give the villa warmth and depth while preserving a clean architectural character. The result is not luxury through excess, but through proportion, material harmony and details that make the home feel composed and personal.
Refining the concept with the client
The project demonstrates the value of developing a design collaboratively. By reviewing the entrance, spatial relationships and material direction with the client, Arc In Space translated a clear emotional brief into a coherent interior concept shaped around the way the villa should feel.
