Fast-track hospitality construction is not simply a matter of adding more labour. It depends on sequencing, supervision and a team structure capable of protecting precision while the programme is compressed.

The most demanding building in the hotel

Eng. Youssef M. Aziz recalls a hotel project in Naama Bay, Sharm El Sheikh, where Arc In Space was assigned the main building containing the restaurants and entrances. At approximately four storeys, it was the largest and most demanding part of the development.

The challenge was clear: deliver the required accuracy within an exceptionally tight schedule. The programme called for each structural floor - columns and slab - to be completed in ten days, across approximately four slabs.

Fifty-four specialists, one coordinated sequence

Meeting that target required around 54 carpenters and steel fixers working continuously across 24-hour operations. The value was not in headcount alone; it came from coordinating formwork, reinforcement, inspections and concrete readiness so one activity supported the next without compromising safety or quality.

On a hospitality project, speed has value only when the building remains accurate, buildable and ready for the design stages that follow. A compressed programme therefore needs clear responsibilities, daily production targets and rapid technical decisions at the point of execution.

Under pressure, coordination becomes the product

The story shows why design and execution cannot be separated. When deadlines are severe, the ability to organise people, information and construction sequence becomes as important as the drawings themselves.

المبنى الأكثر تحديًا في الفندق

يتذكر المهندس يوسف م. عزيز مشروع فندق في خليج نعمة بشرم الشيخ، حيث تولت Arc In Space المبنى الرئيسي الذي يضم المطاعم والمداخل. كان المبنى، المكون من نحو أربعة أدوار، الجزء الأكبر والأكثر تحديًا في المشروع.

كان المطلوب واضحًا: تحقيق الدقة المطلوبة داخل برنامج زمني شديد الضيق. فقد كان يجب إنجاز الهيكل الإنشائي لكل دور، من الأعمدة إلى السقف، خلال عشرة أيام، عبر نحو أربعة أسقف.

أربعة وخمسون متخصصًا ضمن تسلسل واحد

احتاج تحقيق هذا المعدل إلى نحو 54 نجارًا وحدادًا يعملون على مدار 24 ساعة. لكن القيمة لم تكن في العدد وحده، بل في تنسيق الشدات والتسليح والمراجعات والاستعداد للصب، بحيث تدعم كل مرحلة ما يليها من دون التأثير في السلامة أو الجودة.

في مشروعات الضيافة، لا تكون للسرعة قيمة إلا إذا ظل المبنى دقيقًا وقابلًا للتنفيذ وجاهزًا لمراحل التصميم اللاحقة. لذلك يحتاج البرنامج المضغوط إلى مسؤوليات واضحة، وأهداف إنتاج يومية، وقرارات فنية سريعة في موقع التنفيذ.

تحت الضغط، يصبح التنسيق هو المنتج الحقيقي

تكشف هذه التجربة لماذا لا يمكن فصل التصميم عن التنفيذ. فعندما تكون المواعيد شديدة، تصبح القدرة على تنظيم الأفراد والمعلومات وتسلسل البناء بنفس أهمية الرسومات نفسها.
